We are looking for hard working sales employees that can sell 3PL solutions that help solve our clients’ supply chain needs. We are expanding and are looking for additional colleagues to join our sales team.
- Conducting customer research using provided tools, and/or using internet, industry materials and excerpts.
- Prospect for new customers through cold calls and referrals. Use existing customer and new lead information.
- Cooperate with support organization to develop solutions for clients.
- Drive customer interactions using MVPs process for exploration and solution design.
- Make large volume of weekly contacts to keep a your pipeline at desired level.
- Make sales presentations that demonstrates how MVP meets the needs of our customers and prepare bids and contracts for new business.
- Conduct business reviews of current customers and identify new opportunities to improve service and increase sales.
- Monitor changing market conditions and competitor activities and develop appropriate action plans.
- Report on sales activity and progress towards established goals
- We prefer a minimum of two years of sales experience in transportation/distribution or supply chain
- Assertive team player, results orientated, and have the ability to network and be creative.
- Demonstrate strong teamwork and the ability to effectively communicate and influence both verbally and in writing.
- Able to build and maintain relationships with MVP Team and Customers.
- Solid presentation, organization, and negotiation skills.
- Logistics and Supply Chain knowledge
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and the ability to quickly pick up use of MVP’s internal TMS systems.
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
